I know its all made up, but thats a VERY generous FF program. I deal with my airlines top travellers, and im not the least bit shocked now (was when i started) to see peoples accounts having over 2 million miles. Freq business travellers could reach that amount very fast, and within a year, you would have no fares coming in, just tax's.

Alright, time for a name. Personally I've been fond of WinAir, simply because of the name. Other suggestions:
Best Bet (Play off of Best Buy), Global Hemispheres, Konexa (Connects' Ya), iNSPIRE, and last but not least, Eclipse.
So far, WinAir and Konexa are in the lead. Suggest one if you like!

Livery

I had a good design before my laptop decided to eat it's hard drive. crazy It was kind of a throwback to the 40's/50s, white fuselage, silver belly (Kind of like Piedmont), dark blue/grey cheatline, dark grey tail with a simple logo.
(I was out of ideas. D: If you have an idea, suggest it pleeeease.)

1)where is your HQ
Miami Florida in Downtown.
2) LCC or Major or cargo
Major
3)were are your hubs?
Major Hubs, Miami,Kansas City, Portland, New York JFK, LHR, Tokyo NRT.
4) where are your focus city's
LAX,BOS,IAD,MEM,GUM,DXB,AKL,MCO. I know very Unrealistic.
5)what types of A/C are in your fleet
737-400,737-700,747-400,757-300,777-200,777-200LR,A320,Dash-8-300,CRJ-200,DC-9-32,747-200.
6) what is on your A/C(seat config,PTVs,AVOD,food)
742 is high density, DC-9 is old and simple, 734 is just like a WN 737. D8 and CRJ normal. All the rest have PTVs and every seat. Food on all flights longer than 4 hours, decent food for purchase on flights 2.5-4 hours. Snacks on flights shorter than 2.5 hours
7) FF program
Yes.
8) where do you fly
Well it would be a very international airline. MIA would be a huge hub with multiple destinations in 5 continents. DXB,BOM,TLV,NRT,LHR,EZE,FRA,BCN,FCO,ARN,JNB etc.. PDX is west coast and Asian hub with service to EZE,CDG and LHR. MCI is middle of America regional hub with flights to LHR and NRT. JFK is an O/D place with some Asian and European service also service to places like DXB,BOM,HKG. LHR would have intra Europe flights and alot of transcontinental flights. NRT would be an Asian hub obviously. GUM would serve some island near by and other major Asian cities also and Fiji. DXB would serve the middle east and some Indian cities. AKL would serve Fiji and some Australian cities with service to LAX and PDX also. MCO has domestic flights and some flights to England.

Very unrealistic airline I know. But this would be my dream airline.
9) other info and pics of your livery
I have alot of possible info if anyone by a slim chance is intersted to take a look at my 17 page word document about this fake airline go ahead and contact me  Wink I had a lot of free time over the past 5 years.  Smile

RE: Creat Your Own Airline V5

Thu Nov 01, 2007 7:50 pm

OK, part of this has been transferred from the 'Create You're Own Airport' thread. This has been in my head for much longer than is healthy I expect, but a brief explanation:

The airline was set up as NIA - Nepal International Airlines/Airways with a base in KTM mainly serving the UK to India/Bangladesh/South East Asia traffic with a bunch of DC10-30/40s and L1011's via Nepal. This was then supplemented with B747-200s and later 747-400s as the airline grew more successful, and B767-300ERs were added to open up more cities. Then, the KC258 was added (my own imagination, that one, but think MD11 basically) to replace the DC10s and L1011's. A380s were added (I assume they are already well in service) and then another of 'my' aircraft, the ultra wide-bodied KC558 was added to replace the entire 747 fleet. A380-900s have also been added too - ahh, the wonders of imagination Big grin Due to unstable situations in Nepal, a new base was sourced, being in North Western China with suitable incentives from the regional government, although some flights are still operated from KTM. All transfer traffic goes through the new base.

1) Altun Shan International Airport; ATA code 'ATN'; ICAO code 'ZATN' (P.R.China)

2) Major, cargo carried

3) ALT, Altun, in the Altun Shan region

4) KTM, Kathmandu, Nepal

5) Fleet:

K254 = KC 258-400 ... 220 pax in 3 class (Tri-jet, identical design to MD-11)
K551 = KC 558-100 ... 240 pax in 3 class (Shortest in family of 558, speciality range of 10,500mi)
K552 = KC 558-200 ... 320 pax in 3 class (Range of 8500mi)
K553 = KC 558-300 ... 400 pax in 3 class (Replaced 744's in fleet)
A388 = A380-800 ... 480 pax in 3 class (Assumed built and in service for a while)
A389 = A380-900 ... 590 pax in 3 class (Yes, I have assumed they have designed and built it already)

So that makes any sense, here's an explanation of the types in the fleet. The KC258 is, as I mention above, is a modern day equivalent of the MD11, ideal for operating out of KTM. The KC558 twin jet is similar to a 777 in appearance, only seats 12 abreast in a 2-4-4-2 combination, has sleeping accommodation above the passenger cabin and carries as much cargo as a 757F. I can't remember what KC means though, that's the only problem, it's something I thought up yonks back and which then stuck

6) All aircraft:

32.5 inch pitch in Economy, 36 inches on the K551 and ultra-long haul K552 aircraft
72 inch pitch flat beds in Business Class
86 inch flat beds in First Class
PTV with AVOD in all classes, choice of 50 channels in eco, 70 in biz, 100+live TV in first.

7) Loyalty Scheme:

Frequent flyer program is WorldSpan and comprises around the 10 other airlines, all owned by 'The K Group', serving all 7 continents with over 1500 flights a day.

Earn 200% mileage in First, 150% in Business, and 100% in full economy fares. Minimum Economy mileage earned is 10%, depending on the fare.

Pittsburgh Air
Headquarters: AGC
Type: Commuter and Charter
Hub: AGC
Focus Cities: None
Fleet: Cessna 208B Caravan (B1900D is there as well, but is in the paint shop)
Amenities on board: Beverages and tidbits (serve yourself), as well as bagged lunches for meal flights (the LONG ones)
Frequent Flyer Program: None as of yet
Routes: Route Map
We generally serve EAS airports and connect them to larger cities, be it for business or to connect to another airline to travel abroad. The furthest any one of our planes have flown is a charter from Pittsburgh to Kansas City non-stop. Four and a half hours with no restroom! It was an early morning flight.
