It would be a small regional airline based in the northwest/western United States. Start with the 340's building (hopefully) profits and capital to invest and lease the CRJs to expand the coverage to the larger city's routes.

Stupid? Probably so. Make money? Probably not. I am far from an airline exec and don't know anything about the business behind airlines (yet!), but if I had billions to blow, I'd start this airline and hire myself as a pilot.  Smile

Central Airways has decided to sell. The airline based in YYZ, YVR, YYC and MEL, with over 100 aircraft will be selling the Canadian half to Air Canada (AC), and the Australian half to Qantas (QF). The airlines CEO was unhappy to see such an airline go bankrupt and had this to say:

"Central Airways, was such a great airline, that unfortunately it went bankrupt, yesterday. I have decided to sell the airline to AC and QF where the hubs were. I hope to start up another airline soon, after I move to my new home country, France."
