The airline currently has a fleet of all Boeings. 5 Boeing 737-900ER have been ordered to start Carribean flights. 9 Boeing 747-400 have also been ordered to start flights to the Pacific via LAX/SFO and flights to Africa.

Golden Wings has decided to order the Boeing 787 due to the airline being a strong Boeing customer. Also the Boeing 748i has been in our path since it was launched and the 744 not making any more passenger versions. The 748i will be take over all 744 routes and some 772 routes. The 3 ordered Boeing 772LR have arrived and have started operations. All ordered 744 will be replaced with possible 748i orders to be decided in the next couple of days.

A new terminal will start to be constructed at JFK for the airline. The terminal will have 25 gates (15 domestic, 10 int), along with 40 shops, 6 lounges (2 QF, 1 DJ MH SQ CX), a 5 story carpark, train link with the city and other JFK terminals, 100 check in desks. The terminal will be opened with fares for the airline from $100 domestic fares and $600 international fares.

Golden Wings new terminal at JFK has opened with a celebration. The first flight to leave was Golden Wings Flight 902 to LAX on a 737-900ER. The first plane to land was Golden Wings flight 707 from SLC on a 737-700.

Quoting QantasA333 (Reply 13):
A new terminal will start to be constructed at JFK for the airline. The terminal will have 25 gates (15 domestic, 10 int), along with 40 shops, 6 lounges (2 QF, 1 DJ MH SQ CX), a 5 story carpark, train link with the city and other JFK terminals, 100 check in desks. The terminal will be opened with fares for the airline from $100 domestic fares and $600 international fares.

Made a mistake their will be no lounges for those airlines since I was thinking about making a new airport for my hometown ADL!

RE: Create Your Own Airline V3

Sun Apr 29, 2007 4:20 pm

With our excessive profits with our various routes, we will be creating a new airline named Air Delhi Express

Air Delhi Express will be based in BOM, DEL, HYD, MAA, BLR, ATQ, and Ahemdabad
We will be flying to all destinations in India which have runways that can handle A318

For these flights we have ordered 120 A318 to be used exclusive

Experts have commented on the gamble the CEO is taking for more passengers as most of the flights are operated on losses with the big players

RE: Create Your Own Airline V3

Mon May 07, 2007 10:16 am

NAME: North Country Airlines

PURPOSE: Connecting smaller cities of the Upper Midwest, especially those that are more than 6 hours driving distance from one another

HUBS: Minneapolis, secondary hub in Milwaukee, focus city in Rapid City

FLEET:
Q200: Most flights, especially those flights not involving MSP, as well as the shorter flights. Examples are MKE-RAC, MSP-EAU, and FAR-RAP.
CRJ-200: Longer flights that are low demand. Examples are CWA-MSP and DSM-MKE.
737-700: The busiest routes, all involving MSP. Examples are MSP-MSN, MSP-FAR, MSP-DSM, MSP-RAP, MSP-MKE.

DESTINATIONS:
Minneapolis: Service to all destinations in the network.
Milwaukee: Des Moines, Ames, Wausau, Fond du Lac, Oshkosh, Appleton, Green Bay, Sheboygan, Racine
Fargo: Minneapolis, Rapid City
Grand Forks: Minneapolis, Rapid City
Bismarck: Minneapolis, Sioux Falls, Duluth
Rapid City: Minneapolis, Sioux City, Fargo, Grand Forks, Des Moines, Ames
Sioux Falls: Minneapolis, Bismarck
Rochester: Minneapolis
Duluth: Minneapolis, Bismarck
Saint Cloud: Minneapolis
Sioux City: Minneapolis, Rapid City
Ames: Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Rapid City
Des Moines: Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Rapid City
Waterloo: Minneapolis
Cedar Rapids: Minneapolis
Iowa City: Minneapolis
Davenport: Minneapolis
Dubuque: Minneapolis
Eau Claire: Minneapolis
La Crosse: Minneapolis
Wausau: Minneapolis, Milwaukee
Madison: Minneapolis
Janesville: Minneapolis
Racine: Minneapolis, Milwaukee
Fond du Lac: Minneapolis, Milwaukee
Oshkosh: Minneapolis, Milwaukee
Appleton: Minneapolis, Milwaukee
Sheboygan: Minneapolis, Milwaukee
Green Bay: Minneapolis, Milwaukee

LIVERY: Not sure exactly, but it would mostly be blue and white, and some sort of symbol on the tail, like a loon or an "N" or a snowflake or something. I haven't really thought about it much.

CABINS:
Q200: 37Y, 2x2 seating, 31" pitch. Seats are Bombardier standard leather, but blue instead of the standard grey.
CRJ-200: 50Y, 2x2 seating, 31" pitch. Same seats as the Q200.
B737-700: 8J/118Y, 2x2 in J with 36" pitch, 3x3 in Y with 32" pitch. Blue leather seats, similar to Delta's.

SERVICES:
Online check-in available for all flights. Assigned seating. Cold meals at mealtimes. "Voyageur Business Class" is an upgrade on the B737-700 flights that costs 150% of the equivalent Y fare. They will get a hot meal on all flights regardless of meal times. Mileage program is called "Voyageur." All aircraft get a "Voyageur ____" name (like Pan Am had "Clipper ____"). Examples are "Voyageur Minneapolis" or "Voyageur Sioux City." There is a small lounge "Voyageur Business Lounge" in Minneapolis for J passengers. Flights are banked for east-west connections in MSP and vice versa. The MKE-Wisconsin cities flights are timed to depart an hour after the flights from Ames and Des Moines arrive. Connections will only take place in MSP or MKE. Non-MSP/MKE routes are BIS-DLH, FAR-RAP, GFK-RAP, BIS-FSD, RAP-AMW, RAP-SUX, and RAP-DSM. These routes exist because MSP is out of the way for those city pairs, all of which are at least six driving hours from each other.

Codes: IATA is NC, ICAO is NCA, and Callsign is Voyageur.

Currently unserved airports that this airline will serve are Ames, Iowa City, Janesville, Racine, Fond du Lac, Oshkosh, and Sheboygan.

This would never work in real life, but oh well.

Codeshare proposal!

If anyone flies into any North Central destination (most likely are MSP or MKE) from any destinations outside of Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, or Upper Peninsula Michigan, I would be willing to codeshare on my small-market flights which these larger airlines aren't serving.

Just an example: "GB" above serves MCO-MSP. I would be willing to list my MSP flights (like MSP-DLH, for instance) as a codeshare, like GB7323 or something like that. GB passengers would be able to earn their normal miles on that flight. GB benefits by extending its routemap with no additional equipment, while NC benefits by having an additional method to attract passengers.

If any of your airlines flies to one of my cities and would be interested in something like this, let me know!

Asian Circle Airlines has been in talks with Airbus and Boeing for another long haul aircraft likely to take over 773ER routes. The Airbus 340-500 and 380 have been in consideration along with the Boeing 772LR and 747-800. The 773ER aircraft (which will be over taken by the new aircraft) will fly to Asian destinations.

A 2nd daily SIN and HKG will be added to the airlines schedules.

The airline is also now deciding on another hub, most likely to be SIN, HKT, BKK, TPE, PEK or DEL

Well, Air Delhi is announcing that it will be doubling its International Fleet, and start ops from Bangalore

The CEO commented how Bangalore is a market with no major player from India, but with such a big potential in growth as it is the IT capital of India

Some updates for the above airline. I intend to make this into a VA for myself only but a VA none-the-less!

The Airline will start with a fleet of two or three Boeing MD-10s based out of MAN, running initial routes of MIA, SFO, IAD and BOS, or a combination of these. The aircraft will be refitted inside with the MD-10 EFIS flight deck conversion for a two man flight deck, new seats, overhead bins and seat-back IFE.

Colours will be semi-retro style, a thick medium blue stripe running the length of the aircraft from the rear with two thinner stripes one above, one below. The thick stripe curves downward in a ribbon style in front of the front-most windows, then whips back up to a point just underneath the cockpit windows. The titles run above the windows in a black thin retro style. The logo is a black Itallic T with a small E cowled underneath in regular font with a slanted rear side to fit flush with the T.

Expansion plans include flights starting from STN, BHX, BRS and LGW. BRS and some potential BHX flights could be served with a combination of HGW A319s and 767-200ERs. Other new aircraft could include more MD-10 conversions and/or some Airbus A340s, probably -300s and/or -500s.
