I collect Airliner Postcards, and I was wondering if there was anybody else out there who did. Seems we are dominated by Flight Simmers and Safety Card collectors, and I was wondering how many of you are into postcards, and if so, what your preferences are. So...anybody?

I have some airline postcards. I traded almost all of them with one person, but I do have some still left over.

I've got about 450, buit Ive been really picky about what i take. I have mainly major airlines, and am really looking for KLMs, particuarly a 744. If anybody's got any KLMs they want to trade, send me an e-mail (in my profile).

I used to collect postcards, not just airline ones though. I have a few Ansett and Qantas ones -- but not to trade!

I have a few JAL ones, DC-10, MD-11 and 744 I think...I'm not at home right now so I can't be sure. I also have a one of the Frontier Airlines "Fly The Bus" postcards advertising coach service between DEN and Boulder, CO.

Total collection about 3000, hundreds of dupes, including a few from S E Asia in the '70s where I started collecting, and many from airlines serving Gatwick in the 80s, where I worked at the time.

I have Concorde postcards. I may have a few duplicates. I will have to look.

     

I have well over 25000 cards and have been collecting them for many many years. (Does anybody under the age of say, 25, actually collect airline postcards?) I am not and never have been rabid enough to get into printing lists and engaging in trading by mail. That is waaaay more trouble than it's worth to me. On the other hand, if any of you find yourselves visiting in Alaska, I have a few thousand spares available for sale. Also, I travel through Seattle and Colorado a lot and occasionally California. I could always bring a box full along (about 500 cards) if anyone ever wanted to meet at an airport.

I have only 1170 postcards, including some about airports.
