Virtual Airline [please Read!]

Thu Dec 23, 1999 10:22 am

Hello every one.
I am presently in the stages of Thinking about making a Virtual Airline. How ever, im not sure if i will.

I have a question, Lets say my airline will be something like Salt lake International Airways, or Phoenix INTL airways, [ i still dont know where ill be based] Since im using an airports name, is there any copyright issues or laws/rules i need to be aware. This will be a 100% VA and I have no intention what so ever to make it real.

Thanks!

Hi! No, don't worry about the copyright stuff for airports. I don't think anyone does. I have my own VA and I haven't worried! Good Luck with your new venture.

That sounds like a great idea! I'd be interested in setting up the "East Coast" hub here in Boston!

Boston would be a great launch point for transatlantic flights.

I don't think there would be any copyright infringement with geographic names. Remember Air Florida and Air New England?

Happy holidays!

I would say Kansas City would be a good hub if you were going in the mid-west, west area. it is smack dab in the middle of the country.
