ATC Radio Frequency Info Request

Here's a question:

Is there such a publication as one that details the various "center" frequencies that are used, and where. I'm not interested in local and approach freqs, but those used when aircraft talk to eg. Houston Center, Memphis Center, etc.

If not, then does anyone know the high-altitude frequencies for the areas between Lafayette, LA and Houston, TX? We're taking a trip that way next week, and enjoy listening to aircraft while on the road (a good excuse not to listen to radio these days)!

For that trip you'll only need Houston Center frequencies. I took this information from an actual Jeppesen High Altitude Enroute Chart. The chart lists a lot of frequencies, but is not specific about where exactly each frequency is used, so I'll write down all of them:

HOUSTON Center
119.72 125.77 126.42 126.75 127.8 132.4 132.65 132.7 132.72 132.75 132.77 132.95 133.57 133.65 133.75 134.35 135.32 135.47 135.65 135.77

I guess it's just a matter of a few minutes to tune to the right frequency. Have a great trip!

Hey AM:

Thanks for your help! A couple of those are familiar. 119.72 and 125.77 are near New Orleans. Since I work at MSY, and we're on the main jet-route from DFW to Florida, it's kind of fun to hear the airliners at altitude, and then watch them overhead.

I'll put the rest on my scanner, and see what happens.
