Frequencies For Airlines And Control Tower At LAX

I have a scanner and I am looking for frequencies for airline and LAX. Can anyone help.

By the way, I'm just about to buy a receiver, but I don't know much about airband scanners. What model are you using? Do you have to be in the airport's vicinity so you can receive ATC frequencies loud and clear?
