Switzerland aviation enthusiast musts
Hello. I'll be vacationing in Switzerland for the first time from October 1st to October 15th. What are some aviation-enthusiast must-sees in the country? I am planning to go to Axalp October 10th. Thank you for your advice and tips!

Meiringen airbase itself is a very nice place, with many spotting places very close to the action. As with all Swiss military airports, you can check operating days on the Swiss Air Force official website.
If you like commercial aircraft, you can't miss Zurich airport, one of the most spotter-friendly airports in the world. It even has spotting terraces and organized spotting tours on the apron!
I've also been in Samedan, St Moritz's airport. It is a nice place, but beware that there are only biz-jets and it is particularly interesting in the middle of the winter, when the surroundings are covered with snow. It is possible to organize apron tours there too, as long as you contact the airport direction few days before your visit. I'm not sure if there will be lots of traffic in October.
