Taxiway/Runway Light
My apologies if this not appropriate for this forum. I am very interested in obtaining a taxiway directional light as an ornament for my backyard deck. As airports transition to LED's I was hoping to find one. My home faces due north/south so a 9-27 would be a nice ornament.

Why not find an airport with an east/west runway and get in contact with their airfield maintenance department as a place to start?

Do you mean taxiway directional "sign"? If you really mean "light", I'm not sure what relevance orientation has.

The direction signs are usually just semi-transparent covers over the lights themselves. As the lights change from incandescent to other forms (LED, etc) the covers stay the same.
