Cessna 337 and Flightgear: Help, my ILS is broken

I like farting err... flying around in Flightgear. Especially in bad weather.

Now, something struck me as very annoying - while all ILS approaches work (the crosshairs move, and I can manually approach the runway), the autopilot leads me away from the airport in some circumstances.

Have you tried the flightgear forums? I'm pretty sure users of that free sim on here are slim to one. My fix would be, get P3D.

When do you engage the A/P? When established, or before?

Have you tried flying the localizer and VOR approaches?

At what altitude do you intercept the localizer for the ILS approach?
