Entertainment screens on old 747 seats.

Sun Jan 14, 2018 12:25 am

Hi,

I purchased some seats out of an old Air New Zealand 747. The seats are from the mid to late 1990's and still include the old entertainment screens. They have all the original wiring and was wondering if it is possible to get these working again.

Thanks.

I imagine it is possible but potentially difficult or expensive. I would first research what IFE system they were part of and see if you can get any documentation/pin outs/details online. Once you have that you may be able to connect to a source either directly or as I suspect through a proprietary connector which may cost a small sum. Hope that helps!
