What happened to myaviation.net?

A few years ago there was a site called myaviation.net. It was amazing! You could post any pictures regardless of quality as long as it was aviation related. Now the link brings you back here or to a forum that seems to be inactive. What happened?

It was shut down by our previous owners, but there are talks about bringing it back online. However we are not sure of how much that can be salvaged from the old site, if anything.
