What is your favourite brand of model aircraft to display?

Pretty much what the title says. My collection is mostly made up of plastic Skymarks and Hogan Wings, with a handful of die-cast GeminiJets and Herpa Wings aircraft. What about yours?

Hogan Wings 1:200, die cast. I have two of them, one is F-BTSD.

Also have another Hogan Wings model, A380F - but this one doesn't have the cheap looking undercarriage, this one is a bit more customised.

I also have one Herpa 1:500 Qantas 737-800 VH-VZD which the company sent to me. An old photo I took is on the box.

I've personally found that 1:200 die-cast models are too expensive for my budget. That said, the detail of the Gemini200 series is exquisite.

Would that have been a custom package then? I love how GeminiJets includes a picture of the aircraft that has the registration of the model.

I've slowly been buying the Gemini200 models. One or two every few months. The detailing is amazing.

Airlinerwise, I don't go for any particular brands, but rather for rather specific models (airlines and types), so I just have to go for what I can get. I prefer diecast (Gemini200, JC etc) if I have the choice over plastic models, as they feel nicer with the heavy weight, and don't turn yellow over time.
For military models, I build my own from model kits. Always go for the most accurate/precise model I can find for reasonable money.

I have way too many to base it on type, but my top 3 models are my 1/100 chromed Columbia 747-100 from Atlantic Models (still under construction, delivery is about a week away), a 1/100 A330-200 of MEA (again from Atlantic), and a 1/100 727-200 Pacmin in the original Flying W livery of Western Airlines that I found on eBay for a STEAL. On the smaller scale side, I love Inflight/Aviation200's, and a few Gemini200's, especially the TWA 767-200 in the twin stripes. My pride and joy that I gave away was a 1/50 scale Pacmin A330-200 in MEA colors.
