Is this airworthy Martin 4-0-4?!

Mon Mar 20, 2017 1:46 am

Hello everyone!

I've need a visitor to Airliners.net for a very long time, but never posted anything.
Well I snapped these pictures while taxiing at PHX the other day. I realize the photos are not of great quality (phone is all I had with me), but this looks like a Martin 4-0-4.
And it does not look like it's a static display of any sort, this one is right at the airport, looks like it's just parked there ready to go.

Supposedly, the last flight of this aircraft was in 2008!

Does anyone know if this is indeed a Martin 4-0-4 and if so, who does it belong to?

Thanks all!

P.S. I didn't know which forum to post this to, so if admins decide to move to a more appropriate thread, it would be greatly appreciated.

As was mentioned, it's a Convair 580 operated by IFL. They do contract work for DHL, flying PHX-LAX.
