New Collector

Hi All,

I am looking at starting my collection again (I used to have a decent collection of mainly 1/500 models) and I was wondering on whether to go back to 1/500 or go to 1/400?

Is there more variety and choice in 1/400?

And any decent websites that anyone could suggest would be great.

I collected 1/400s .. then moved to 1/200s .. so I have a lot of 1/400s to sell :-)
But - i use JetCollector (jetcollector.com) and DiecastAirplane (diecastairplane.com). You might also want to check out diecastaircraftforum.com .. lots of good stuff there .. \

I prefer 1/400. I buy on ebay and the websites mentioned above. I also use various other ones from around the world depending on what I am looking for and what sales they have.
I recommend either get one of every aircraft type, or one of every type for specific airlines or some other means of restricting the numbers, otherwise it gets out of control real fast. 1,2,40,80,200 500+ hahaha... When I started I only wanted airlines that flew to my local airport, then that I had flown, then to the point where I like the livery. lol
