DFW 1990's video with ATC

After procrastinating for several years, I finally got my Hi8 DFW films transferred to digital. I have probably 3 hours worth, but decided to load up one just to see if there was any interest.

The camera work is terrible, the film grainy compared to today's HD, but it sure does bring back memories! I hope at least some of you old heads will enjoy.

Thanks for sharing. 16:11 has a nice staggered approach between the Jetstream landing on the inner and the Saab. With the AA MD-11 and the AA 727-100, I take it this was filmed between 1991 and 1994?

To be honest, I cannot recall the exact timeframe, but would assume several on here could nail it by what is present on the video.

Thanks for posting these videos! What is interesting besides the planes and the airport is that most of the vacant land north of Highway 114 is now occupied by commercial buildings and homes.

Thanks again! @25:27 - TWA DC-9-10- yesteryear's two-class CRJ-900. And also thanks for capturing the western half of the field. Isn't it scary to think the land you filmed that on is now home to Terminal D?

You are welcome. Have more footage yet to upload. Will work on it later this week. Hopefully the quality is not too irritating to anyone, but about the best I can do. The motion stabilization software by youtube is really helping cut down on the otherwise terrible camera work on my part!
