Trent 772B-60

Mon Feb 04, 2019 4:52 pm

Hello everyone, I need specific informations about the Trent 772B-60 for a project in one of my classes. I hope you can help me by giving me these informations since they are pretty hard to find on the web :

- All the components dimensions (diameters, width, positions ) for Fan, IP compressor, HP compressor, combustion chamber, HP turbine, IP turbine, LP turbine

- Maximum take-off at 3000ft altitude equivalent ( Take off and bare Engine equivalent )

- Maximum Continuous thrust ( Only bare engine equivalent )

Thank you very much for your time and your help !!!

You are almost certainly not going to find any dimensions beyond the fan diameter. Such things are pretty tightly guarded intellectual property of the engine companies.

Agree that you're unlikely to get that detailed information (tho' I'm sure that the Chinese Engine Company will have them :-) ) but it would be worth emailing RR directly - they do a lot of STEM work, and may have something suitable.

Hello:
It will be no easy task to have this questions answered. Back at my time, we made a graphic on a , and then calculated dimensions. I know is not exactly, but.
For the thrust data try to contact RR. If not answered, a FLight Manual May help You. Again which good “imagination”
Sorry I have not the answers...

Sorry, (graphic on a Grid Sheet) For área calculation, You may count how many squares are in to, for instance, turbine and them calculated with a know ksquares. More “technically” is to have area measure by a Profesional Pantograph
