Hello! I'm a long time lurker (15 years), seldom poster, on the site. I'm not sure if this is the appropriate forum for posting but I'll go ahead anyway. I just graduated with an MBA and Doctorate back in December from Texas Tech (Wreck 'em!). My background is in aviation. I joined the Air Force directly out of high school as an avionics technician and worked my way up to flight line supervisor. After ten years in the Air Force, I worked in the commercial airline industry in passenger handling (res, airport, gate) and ramp operations. I then worked as a defense contractor in an advisory capacity for a foreign military. I'd like get back into aviation and am looking at aviation consulting. My questions are 1) does anybody here work in the industry and 2) and advice on firms, positions, outlook, etc?
