BAC 111: Chapter 1
DC9 series : Chapter 2
MD80 series : Chapter 3
MD9x series : Chapter 4
Is this correct? DC9's were serving well into the 2000's, atleast in the US. So Chapter 3/4 did not come into force in the USA? EU did enforce Chapter 3 in 2001?
I am looking for data on the timeline of implementation and scope. For eg: Did Middle Eastern countries enforce these standards and the timeline for that?

Did any of the majors actually hushkit their DC9/737 fleets? I know some 727 operators did but the others?

Bear in mind there are differences between US FAA Standards like Stage 1 2 3 and ICAO chapters. Not that large but they do exist.
