CFM LEAP 1A33 Max thrust?

Fri Nov 24, 2017 4:57 am

From what I've seen, the -1A33 and the -1A32 have the same maximum thrust (32,160 lbs). Does the -1A33 have a higher thrust? If not, then why the difference in A321 variants (251 vs 253)?

Engine models which have the same approved ratings in standard static conditions (like the -1A32 and the -1A33) will provide different level of thrust at altitude and/or high temperature conditions. (further not specified in the TC) This is controlled by the engine identification plug (2531M61P14 for -1A32 and 2531M61P22 for -1A33)
See Note 1 of the Leap 1A/1C EASA Type certificate (more detailed then the FAA type certificate) : https://www.easa.europa.eu/system/files ... -1A-1C.pdf

Nice link.
I just wanted to note the maximum thrust is on page 7 of the link (note: metric units): 32,159 lbf.
