We can use recorded FDR data for engine condition monitoring and also to define in flight discrepancies/deviations.
ACARS can send all necessary data to the ground for engine condition monitoring. My question is if ACARS can also send the same kind of data recorded in FDR to the ground, to define in flight discrepancies/deviations?

It does. Look at the initial information trail of ACARS messages from AF447.
But you have to "book it" and pay for the service.
See MH370. Engine monitoring had been discontinued but the sat modem
still booked into the the service. That trail was used to garner information
on the whereabouts. ... not fully successful.

Okay. If airline will have an agreement with ARINC or SITA for data link (of course it will be charged for this service) for AC B737-800. In this case is it possible to get the data about the in flight discrepancies/deviations? Instead of downloading the data from FDR?
