Sun Sep 10, 2017 3:25 pm

Hi everyone, basic question regarding the cargo of the 767-300ER

- How many LD2s are needed for 290 tourist pax suitcases ?

Many thanks for your feedbacks.

With about 30-35 bags per DPE you'd probably use 8 and load the remainder bulk. The 767 bulk is very large so this leaves space for cargo ULD's!

Wow that's a lot of remaining available space in the cargo. If I'm correct both cargos in a 767-300ER can hold in total 30 LD2

Wow with so much empy space it's surprising that Boeing never set up a Crew Rest in the container or bulk area

There's more than just bags in the hold, cargo and mail to be specific. If you're installing CRC in the lower-lobe, you're taking away revenue space for mail and cargo.
From receips and radials over straight pipes to big fans - been there, done that, got the hearing defects to prove

I agree but full tourist mono class such as Thomsonfly 767s for instance, this extra space wont be use for mail and cargo
