Hello everyone,
What system Norwegian is for providing internet on board on their B787?
For those who have tried it, is it fast, slow, just good?

There's currently no wifi on the 78, hopefully in the next couple of years though

Ok thanks and what about the European flights?
I've heard internet is Free on those flights. Im curious to know what provider/system they are using.

European wifi provided by Row44-Global Eagle. Free indeed, sufficiently fast to browse and watch youtube in low to medium quality. If not too many passengers connected at once, one can even sustain a whatsapp call. Unfortunately, reliability of the system is not that good, and even if the vast majority of the 737 fleet is equipped, the number of them flying with an inop wifi is not negligible.
Interestingly, the MAXs, even if they have the radome installed on top of fuselage are not yet equipped (empty radome so far, installation is done at the first "big" maintenance check). I don't know if it is the same for the 789 who left boeing with a radome as well...

Last time I flew a Norwegian 787 there was a wifi hotspot on board, but it wasn't connected to anything. It was an empty network without internet. I seem to recall the wifi facilities are built-in by default on the 787, however it's up to the airline to use them or not.
The in-flight entertainment system on Norwegian contains a huge amount of movies, music and games all for free so you certainly don't have to get bored during the flight. You can also order your drinks and snacks using the IFE, however there's no internet option on it either.
