Lower deck Utilization - A330 / A340

Tue Sep 05, 2017 5:25 pm

Hello to all,

On A330/A340 Acfts, apart the Lower deck lavatories and the crew rest, did Airbus offer other option for using lower deck available space?

Thanks for your feedbacks.

LH used to have a lower level galley on the A346, but I believe they were all removed.

Nice, on the photo it states is galley + crew rest. Then it's a 1 AKE doing Crew Rest + Galley or 1 AKE crew rest and another AKE Galley?

Thanks,

Good question, not sure to be honest, I believe they removed the galley to make more space for cargo.

An AKE size container would be far to small. Here is the size of a mobile crew rest. It appears to be the size of roughly two standard AKE style containers side-by-side. A galley container would be larger (possibly the size of two pairs (4) AKE containers).
