8130/ EASA QUESTION

Tue Jul 25, 2017 1:48 pm

Hello all!

I had a quick question and I thought I knew the correct answer to this, but I think I might be mistaken. If box 14a. 14 CFR 43.9 Return to Service is checked that should denote that a unit is dual release correct? The same with an EASA if block 14a. Part 145.a.50 should denote that it's dual release. Let me know if I'm missing something here.

Hi: I may be wrong but, I think it depends on what is written on GMM for each company: It's FAA 8130 acceptable, and/or EASA-1?
And not only 8130 and EASA, there are other authorities that may be or may be not acceptable for specific company: Japan's, Transport Canada...
