But you wouldn't be the first one fooled. The Iranians were just as confused when USS Belleau Wood (LHA-3) transited the strait of Hormuz and sailed into the NAG.
Then the next day the Iranians were perplexed when USS Kearsarge (LHD-3) sailed northbound through the strait of Hormuz.
There was lots of screaming on Intel chatter listening to the Iranians accuse each other over who lost track of belleau wood allow it to slip southbound undetected and have it reappear transiting northbound again the next day.
