113312 wrote:There are actually three parts to the pressurization outflow on the DC-10. A deflector, the large butterfly valve, and a second thrust recovery jet valve. You might notice that on the MD-11, this has been reduced to a single outflow valve. This change was also incorporated in the MD-10 conversion for FedEx.
