Also

Air Europa (UX) have MAD-AMS on A330/787. Currently two flights a day some days. Mostly 787 from what I can see.

Nope. Not as far as I can see. Loaded everyday until 26th October 2019 at least. That will be until the Winter schedule although no doubt it will continue through the Winter just not loaded yet.

As for this as EI has no business in Europe you can get the flat beds, international business for just an extra legroom seat cost on ALL economy fares.

Icelandair operate KEF-(LHR/AMS) and possibly others consistently with 767. Others 757, not wide body, but interesting and rare in Europe.
WOW Air have NO A330 so none with them.
TUI operate 767/787 in Europe to Canaries/Balearics. Not that consistent I don't think. But certainly often.

Not a problem.

TAP are flying A330 (again with proper J lie flats) at least 1 x weekly on Mondays. LIS-VIE-LIS. I saw this throughout June/July although I'm sure more dates are there to be found.

Yes TP LIS-VIE - forgot that. Cheers. As a one off I also did the LX 77W ZRH-LHR in J last year.

Did Korean used to have a tag on somewhere ?

That's some truly impressive capacity considering the narrowbody flights/destinations these are supplementing!

Looks like UX are still sending a mix of A330 and 787 down to TFN and LPA at least once a day. The 787 is great value in J for those with island resident travel discounts.

Yes, WOW's A330 leaves the fleet next week.

The morning flights to LHR, AMS and CDG are all consistently 767s. Other routes that regularly see it are ARN, CPH and MUC. Last summer they could also be seen on FRA, HEL and OSL.

Someone here mentioned UX, they also operate a mix of A330/787 to AMS and on BCN-MAD.

Does CA have any 5th freedom routes now? I flew them BCN-VIE in 2017 and I know they also used to fly MUC-ATH but stopped recently.

TUI consistently schedule their B788 and B789s on summer leisure routes across Europe.

Jet2 will lease A330 equipment from AirTranker and operate MAN-ACE/ALC/TFS plus AYT in Turkey.

Condor operate their 767-300s to European destinations, as may Eurowings again this year.

Finnair is adding widebody flights on short hauls, like LHR gets a daily A330. And BRU got a widebody back.

AY1331/1332 HEL-LHR-HEL, A359, D
AY1337/1338 HEL-LHR-HEL, A330, D, starting 31MAR19

AY1541/1542 HEL-BRU-HEL A330/A359, 36

AY1671/1672 HEL-AGP-HEL, A330, 57, 01MAR19-29MAR19

DXB has A359 twice a week this winter. AY handles DXB as a short haul destination so SH upgrades with points work here too.

AY1961/1962 HEL-DXB-HEL, A350, 57, until 29MAR

Air Europa also flies A330 / 787 between MAD-AMS. I looked into doing this route but chose the EDI-DUB with Hainan.

I wonder if BA or AF will run any training flights on their A350s when they arrive? On past form with their A380s and B787s they have, so fingers crossed.

I would think they could train on partner Iberia. It's not a new plane for the group and shared training with partners is not a uncommon practice in the aviation world.

Bit late but to answer this as the thread has been posted in again.

Both carriers will.

BA will be operating A350-1000 with the new Club Suites to MAD starting in late-August ish and probably for most of September before the long hauls start in October. Rumours so far are for either BA456 or BA460 and the return. Not likely to be filed into the schedule until June at the absolute earliest but more likely late-July.

AF is definitely doing them too. Likely to LHR like the A380 and B787 had although could go to a number of other too. As for timings, I don't know yet.

Some good opportunities to get some more A359/A35K in Europe on the cheap.

CS-TOG TP1354/67 LIS-LHR
CS-TON TP 434/3 LIS-ORY
CS-TOQ TP1272/1 LIS-VIE
CS-TOF TP1274/3 LIS-VIE
CS-TOL TP1356/7 LIS-LHR
CS-TOA TP442/1 LIS-ORY <-- A343

Not July 1st for BA A350.

BA are receiving the first mid-July. Likely to MAD from mid-August to mid-September (on either/or BA456/457 & BA460/461) before YYZ and DXB in October.

From a realiable source :

BA have been inquiring with several stations with regards to short haul flights utilizing the A350 and their ability to handle them. This includes Domestic stations. So expect to see more than just MAD for trials.

Apparently, unlike the 787/A380 introduction, the BA pilots have not had the opportunity for familiarization flights before hand with other airlines and so the key goal is an increased number of sectors required for the type.

Not a WB but very much of interest is the EI A321neoLR now bookable around Europe with full long haul cabin. Flat Beds in Business available between DUB-LHR !! A bit pricey but will be looking at this.
