Future Destinations of East African Airline Carriers
Hi I recently spent a month travelling in Kenya Uganda and Tanzania primarily using KQ and their E190s for flying between the East African cities (with a connection in NBO). Learning about KQ expanding their long haul ops now starting a non stop flight to JFK, I want to learn more about what you guys think will be the future destinations and long term strategy of these airlines (KQ, ET, WB etc...)

KQ will probably try for a push in to China and India, maybe Southern Europe and North Africa when they eventually get the 737 MAX

Over the next few years, I see ET converting many of its one-stop destinations into Nonstop terminators, as number of aircraft increase. On the growth side, expect Shenzhen and Chongqing in China and eventually an Australian destination. In North America, SFO, IAH and maybe JFK seem like other realistic additions. For Europe, MUC and ZRH are Star hubs that could possibly work
