I visited Alaska last month and I noticed that Alaska Airlines and Delta have flights between ANC and SEA that arrive in the very early morning hours at both airports. June is a very busy tourist time in Alaska and it seemed to me that commercial businesses are in overdrive to get things done before fall and winter come along. Are the unusual arrival hours in both ANC and SEA due to heavy demand or is it more because of the very long daylight hours in Alaska?

In terms of early arrival at SEA, I'd guess that it is to allow passengers to connect to other parts of the country if they're trying to get places other than Seattle. Having an early landing time at SEA will make it much easier for passengers to make a connecting flight on time, and it makes the scheduling of connecting flights much easier for both airlines.

Believe it or not much of the construction is done in the winter months.
