What if JAS Survived The Merger With JAL?

Wed Jun 20, 2018 5:18 am

Now this is fairly unrealistic, since JAL was the bigger company. But what if JAS as a brand survived the merger with JAL?

Much better livery design perhaps? :stirthepot: . At least you won't see the ultra bland Eurowhite with "Japan Airlines" text only along with the Tsurumaru.

But other than that, it's just really hard to see this "what if". JAL is simply the much more known brand, much larger, and have way more money. Many JAS concept (i.e. Super Seats/Rainbow Seats) eventually evolved into current JAL's 3-class domestic product anyway (Ok, Domestic First is better than Super Seats, but "Class J" and Rainbow Seats are pretty much the same concept).
