I will be very interested to know as we had a conversation about this at work yesterday. An SSR for BRLT had been added to one of customers PNRs for Air Serbia, and none of us had any clue what BRLT means.

SSR is Special Service Request, and that is standard industry jargon. Common examples would be SSR WCHS (wheelchair assistance) or SSR GFML (gluten free meal). BRLT though is a code I’ve never seen before.

Found this interesting document which claims that "BR" refers to a Sabre GDS branded fare. For example, for Lufthansa Group the "LT" brand ID refers to Economy Light.

However, what "LT" refers to seems to depend on the airline. Air Canada seems to instead use it to refer to "Latitude", their fully flexible economy fare.

What you found is branded fares - not SSRs. Branded fares in SABRE are found using FQ (fare quote) or WP (pricing) commands, not via SSRs. It is possible that a carrier decides to further document the fare in a proprietary format in SSRs, but that is disconnected from the content you found.

Hi Alex, this is just an internal code for the staff - as AirSerbia is now selling more products to make more cash... :dollarsign:

BR is the fare you paid, BRLT stands for "Branded Fare Economy White" (lowest class, no free luggage); BRYC "...Economy Blue" etc.!

Other new codes are e.g.
APFT- "Airport Fast Track"; BGPT "Priority Bag Tagging"; PRIB "Priority Boarding"...
