Domestic leg flight

Mon May 14, 2018 9:59 am

Hi everyone , I have a flight next month on air India AI126 from Delhi to Hyderabad. The flight operates from Ord-del-hyd and the aircraft is stopped in the international side of Delhi T3. The doubt is, how do I skip immigration, is there a process, will they ask me to fill a form or something. And also can I web-checkin and pick a seat on domestic leg flights. Thank you

So you will check in (drop baggage) as per normal at the DEL T3 check in. They will hand you your boarding pass and a deceleration form stating that you are a domestic passenger. The boarding pass will state show that you are a domestic passenger (which is shown by the letter D). Head towards immigration where there are signs stating that if you are a domestic passenger you will have to hop across to a different line. The officials there should be able to guide you. Many people mess up so it is a good thing you asked. They will stamp your boarding pass and then you'll head to security as per usual. I have taken these international connectors in the past, and do check out these videos I hope they help:

Honestly can't remember doing web check ins for these flights - maybe reserving your seat in advance is your best bet... Although I see no reason why you shouldn't be able to perform an online check in.
