Inflight Product on ex-VX planes

Thu May 10, 2018 9:26 am

How has the in-flight product changed on routes that are still served with ex VX Airbuses, from what it used to be when VX were on their own?

I flew an ex-VX A320 from SFO to OGG two days ago. The crew (flight and cabin) was still in VX uniforms. The safety video is still the Glee-style VX video, complete with the "Thank you for flying Virgin America!" ending. The interior is still VX with mood lighting, black leather Y seats, etc. The entertainment was still MobileRed. There were still VX branded BOB offerings on the IFE. Other than the AS flight number and AS FF number, I would have thought I was flying Virgin America.
