Nah, Just kidding.

There are so many that I really like, across practically all categories.
Difficult, but ultimately I decided reluctantly to narrow to just two. Then, more hard time to decide between the Blackbird and the Valkyrie. I had been up close and personal with the earlier A-12 iteration of the jetblack super spyplane at the Intrepid Museum in New York and was totally mesmerized. Took my breath away, and after hanging around for quite a while till nobody was close by, went across the rope barrier to reach out a hand to touch a wing.

Though I did not have the opportunity - yet - to view the single extant Valkyrie; the XB-70A, it still took precedence, by the skin of a whisker, over the Blackbird. The features that did it for me are the downward folding wingtips inflight to ride on its compression lift, and the six mighty GE YJ-93 powerplants grouped in a horizontal row. Pure Plane Porn at its climatic best. And the name Valkyrie evokes a otherworldy feel....of choosing its victims. Morbid! *shivers*.
Almost 50 years now since its final flight.

Hawker Hunter for military, and Beechcraft Starship for civilian (with honorary mention to the Boeing 727-100).

To me the 707 forever defined the ideal jet airliner look--perfectly proportioned with sharply swept back wings. But the 747, combined its enormous size with a breathtaking majesty. I would say the L-1011 was very good looking as well.

Douglas DC-8-63

Perfect proportions. And it was my very first flight, so also a sentimental favorite.

There seems to be a distinct lack of love for the DC-3, Twin Otter and DC-4 here.
