I’m getting N861DA. Makes sense. Delta B777-200ER

BIG THANKS

One more
27 NOV 2015 DL3991 DTW-MDW CRJ9

To look that up I’ll need the regional that operated it.

DL3991 is now an Endevour flight but different route. So guessing possible that and swapped flight number or could be a different regional.

On that day into MDW Delta mainline operated 5 flights from ATL only so it must be a regional. You said CR9 and the only regionals Delta uses with the CR9 I think are Endeavor and SkyWest and neither had any flights into MDW that day.

Tried a whole load of other regionals and couldn’t find it either. Sorry.

Apologies for not including that detail.
I had it recorded as Delta Connection (Endeavor) DL3991. The discrepancy is between N927XJ in my online log and N931XJ in my text logbook.

Can’t help I’m afraid on the BTS website has no recording of Endevour Flight 3991 than day. Really strange. In fact no Endevour Flights recorded since 2012 ish from DTW. Not sure why but I can’t help I’m afraid.

Only 4 flights operated not 5 so maybe one each way cancelled or something. I can double check. I’ll see which they were and get back to you and I’ll look for the ‘99 flights too. Away currently. It’ll be 24 hours or so probably until a reply. Thanks.

According to BTS stuff here is what I can find. All seems consistent with regards to Departures and Arrivals.

21-Feb-2003 / DTW-CLT

NW288 - N8979E (arrival 1155) - DC-9-31
NW1474 - N612NW (arrival 2230) - DC-9-32
NW1570 - N955N (arrival 1535) - DC-9-31
NW1574 - N919RW (arrival 1850) - DC-9-31
NW1576 - N926NW (arrival 0830) - DC-9-32

Don't have your NW1739 or a couple others mentioned. Timetables may have changed? Just checked and no NW1739 at all on that date.

23-Feb-2003 / CLT-DTW
NW1571 - N926NW (arrival 1245) - DC-9-32
NW1573 - N957N (arrival 1620) - DC-9-31 (Your bet on which one :))
NW1575 - Non existant.
NW1577 - N963N (arrival 0920) - DC-9-31
NW1579 - N8915E (arrival 2020) - DC-9-14

Mostly as you mentioned for 23rd. Except 1575 didn't exist that day.

I have listed all for the Feb 2003 flights so has to be one of them I guess.

The other 1999 Flights:

01-Sep-1999 / DTW-JFK / No NW1876 Did you mean NW1866? If so N769NC / DC-9-51
If not the other flight numbers that day on the route are 1414/1866/1868/1870? No 1876.

03-Sep-1999 / JFK-DTW / NW1869 / N922RW / DC-9-31 (Got this one.)

Hope all clear and makes sense and I think I answered everything. :)

I'm pleasantly surprised to discover that I did log the DC-9-10 ......
My record's missing DC-9-40 though it could have been one of those in May '99 ORD-DTW or early '02 DTW-PVD // BOS-DTW.

Wishing the best in your future endeavors.

Well in regard to the second photo I have already posted most of the BA flights before. They are copied below:

george77300 wrote:

Well I'll look for others when I have more time but here are the BA ones you have flight numbers for:

11-Jun-2012 / BCN-LHR / BA485 / A320 / G-EUUJ

14-Aug-2012 / MAN-LHR / BA1385 / A320 / G-EUYC / (NB: A320 not A319 you had recorded.)
14-Aug-2012 / LHR-PRG / BA862 / A320 / G-EUYA
17-Aug-2012 / PRG-LHR / BA861 / A320 / G-EUUU
17-Aug-2012 / LHR-MAN / BA1385 / A319 / G-EUOH

06-Feb-2013 / MAN-LHR / BA1391 / A321 / G-EUXE / (NB: A321 not A319 you had recorded.)

31-May-2013 / MAN-LHR / BA1389 / A320 / G-EUYJ / (NB: A320 not A319 you had recorded.)

13-Apr-2015 / LHR-BCN / BA472 / A320 / G-EUYG
15-Apr-2015 / BCN-LHR / BA473 / A320 / G-EUYS / (NB: A320 not A321 you had recorded.)

31-Aug-2015 / LHR-MAN / BA1404 / A320 / G-EUYN

Those are the BA with flight numbers done. I'll look for others later and if you can find more flight numbers that would be great. Login to BA and you can see all past flights ever you've taken somewhere in the Executive Club menu on a Timeline. Destination, Date and Flight number are visible if you're missing some.

As for others I'll take a look later. Is it possible for you to add these and any others from before and post some photos with only new ones to get so I don't get confused as to what I've done and start giving them to you twice.

Thanks a lot

George :)

Hi George,

Obviously something wrong with my spreadsheet if the ones you've already posted are missing from my latest photo upload as I already added them! I'll have to have print it out and have a good look through it!

Done some rooting around on old back-up disc and I found a photo I took of the aircraft for MAN-SAW. Apparently the charterers has leased it from Air Atlanta Europe, and as it was only a day trip it would be safe to assume it would be the same craft back to the UK?

Image

I'll crack on with looking through the list right now.

Cheers,

Stevie

George,

The second of the screengrabs was added erroneously by me before - it was an old one. This is the one with added flight numbers:

and this should have been the second screengrab:

Yes I thought that was the case and no problem at all. Busy at the moment. I’ll check all those for you tomorrow morning so maybe 12 hours or so. Don’t worry about it, I figured you might have just uploaded the wrong picture!

By the looks of the spreadsheet you returned the next day. So quite possibly one leased aircraft or could have been different the next day. I’m not aware of the leasing of the top of my head although if one aircraft only was leased it would make life very easy.

Also if you have other photos of that or other aircraft of the tail, above cockpit or nose gear door it often has the final two/three registration digits making it very easy to find although this is me being very hopeful.

I’ll get back to you tomorrow on the others.
George.

That's what I can find for now. I can only really get the ones with flight numbers.

Hi George... Do you know if there is a way to reverse search the Mesaba Saab fleet on 19 JUL 2004 and 22 JUL 2004 to see which aircraft went to YXU? I checked photo databases on airliners and planespotters, and the advanced search function on jetphotos sucks so much and doesn't work.
Maybe you know another technique.

George,

The second of the screengrabs was added erroneously by me before - it was an old one. This is the one with added flight numbers:

and this should have been the second screengrab:

Thanks once again George!

Cheers,

Stevie

I’m sorry I don’t quite understand what you mean. It’s technically a Canadian airport so won’t appear details on the BTS website that works for domestic US flights only. I personally don’t have access to anything that would find a US-Canada flight in 2004. So sorry but I don’t think I’ll be much use. Do you have any other details on the flights? The photo database lookup often works but usually only if you are very lucky or go to an airport with very active spotters. Sorry for not being much help.

George.

I understand, I have the flight numbers and the dates in this case. I will try to do what you suggested and go to the airport to look for the information sometime in the future.

You could always try emailing/tweet the airport or airline to find details. Might not work but sometimes they can help depending on how old it is. Especially the airline will keep details on the system of all old flights. Here is the email for YXU if you want to try. Good luck anyway.

Thanks>>>> I wrote to them. It is my dream that they will find this info, since the airline Mesaba doesn't exist anymore I don't know if their internal records are kept anywhere.
