I am getting ready to book a flight from SAT - NRT on Japan Airlines and have a question about the fare types.
What is the difference between Standard Economy versus the Premium Standard Economy? I tried to do some research on their site but was confused.

JL offers Economy and Premium Economy service on flights to Japan. Go back to the home page of JAL.com and click on "Service and Travel Information" and then click again on "Classes of Service." These links will describe the two classes of service offered and then review the fares by flight and date which will show as "Economy Standard" or "Premium Economy Standard." Obviously because of its enhanced service, the fare for PE or sometimes called Y+ will in all/or most cases be higher than the Economy fare.
