I've been trying to do some research on TAAG's flight from Luanda to Havana. It seems like a very odd route, though it makes sense cosidering Cuba and Angola's ties. However there is one particular oddity.
This flight is operated once a week. It leaves Sunday nights, arriving the following Monday morning. However, the return flight doesn't depart until noon on Tuesday and seemingly sometimes even on Wednesday. Can anyone explain why the flight spends 30-50 hours on the ground at HAV? Thanks!

Why is flying so expensive? And why is flying well so much more?
