BA122/3 Cancellations
I have just been scrolling through the basource.com and it shows that the daily BA roundtrip to DOH (BA 122/123) has been cancelled every day for the last few weeks - yet ba.com would allow me to make bookings for that service tomorrow and for any day this week - but would those bookings only end up getting cancelled?. Is basource.com inaccurate or has BA in effect handed over the route to QR whose several daily flights operate with a BA codeshare.

The flight indeed didn’t operate for quite a while however it seems that today I ran normally.

Yes it’s correct. If BA ever have any crew issues, aircraft into maintenance and a B777 is missing that is their first route to be cancelled because QR have 7 (or six can’t remember) daily flights pax get rebooked onto Qatar and BA is not usually got the high load factors anyway so BA seem to cancel the flight and rebook all passengers.
