Hey Guys,
I was recently looking to book a flight on AA between Dallas and Honolulu and I noticed economy still shows snacks for purchase. I was under the impression complimentary meals had been reintroduced. Can anyone shed some light on this?

I took the route two years ago and it was still BOB (not only that but they only made one pass with the option to buy, about an hour after takeoff). It was pretty awful. I hope for your sake that they’ve reintroduced actual food — it was pathetic. That flight is nearly 9 hours long.

Meals, beer and wine
Free on flights to and from Europe, Asia and select Latin American cities and from Dallas / Fort Worth to all Hawaiian cities that take off during normal breakfast, lunch and dinner times.

Perhaps a reason why meal service was re-introduced is to encourage customers to take the non-stop flight (higher fare) from DFW rather than going through LAX and then on to the Islands.
