Hey fellow passenger service agents,
I'm a passenger service agent (I don't work for AA) who will be flying on a confirmed ticket (not non-rev) and wanted to find out whether any AA agents short-check luggage? I usually do it for pax, however, I know some agents don't. Or are AA agents willing to interline a bag on a separate Aer Lingus ticket?
Also, should I even bother making myself known as an airline employee? Lol when you non-rev, it's a whole different story. But, I don't know how flashing my badge as a normal pax would go down. :/
I'll need my bag short-checked from the U.S. Only up to LHR.

In my experience, you can ask. I know some airlines have stopped tagging bags to extra sectors that are not in the PNR. If you want to short check it, you can ask. If it doesn't work when you get to whatever city, you can just ask agents there to give you, your bag as you might need something etc.
