My family is on AF995 (JNB - CDG) currently, and when searching for the flight, I noticed an AF995A replacing AF995 which was cancelled on 05 Dec.
Curious minds want to know if anyone knows the reason for this cancellation? I'm guessing it was a mechanical, but more information would be appreciated.

No insider information but almost definitely mechanical and they delayed flight to the next day.
