I don't think anyone would invest in a Freighter conversion program. The DC-9Fs had capacity of 6 or 8 pallets (-10 and -30) models and with 733s being available with a similar capacity after a BCF program, my guess would be that potential operators rather switch to those. After all, spare parts for the 737 should be easier to get in some years compared to those for the 717s.
