Wed Nov 22, 2017 4:19 pm

Hello,

I am not sure if i am posting this in the correct area if not please remove it however, i am currently in my final year of university and researching on the quality and safety of low cost/budget airlines. If you could fill out my survey in regards to this, it would be appreciated as this will help for my research report. The link is : https://s.surveyplanet.com/rkhUS-Xxz

Thank you

I find the safety question difficult. As the rules (in the EU) are very strict so on that front you don't really experience differences. Finished the survey though!

Done! I agree the safety question was difficult as I’m sure all airlines have to adhere to the same things.

Here's a generalized summary of my one-time experience with budget airlines (I'm actually flying on Spirit and Allegiant this January).

It was a Spirit flight DFW-LAX. With checked baggage, I didn't pay more than a hundred dollars total, and had a backpack in the space where my legs are at. Value was basically good. Although I did not have all the room in the word with regards to legroom, it was comfortable enough (I'm 5'8 and slim) and had my legs over the backpack. There's lots of space underneath the seat in front of you! As far as customer service, I didn't really interact much with anybody (which is what I always try to do to avoid bad service or trouble), and I was asleep most of the flight as we departed around 6 am. Flight delayed 30 minutes because maintenance (I think landing gear or something? I was expecting the plane to be lifted with a jack xP).

I'm 23.
