Hainan A332s

Hello,
I am flying TLV-PEK-XIY-MEL-CSX-PEK-TLV in a couple of months.
On Skytrax there are two reviews from people who flew SYD-CSX and MEL-XIY/CSX-MEL (332s) who said that they had no inflight entertainment whatsoever?
However a bit of light digging on the internet suggests that all their 332s have IFE. Does anyone know what the go is here? Have HU recently leased any 332s?
Also in general - I'd be delighted with any recommendations about flying HUs A333s and 332s and the transferring in China process. I have never flown with them or visited a mainland airport before.
