I'm spending the weekend in Miami Beach, and flying DL JFK-MIA. Flight is DL2951 and I'm in First Class (having a rough time in life and wanted to make myself feel better, at least temporarily). There is meal service on board, and since I have Celiac Disease I requested a Gluten Free Meal. Does anyone have any ideas about what it would be? Is it edible? Any DL employees or anything?
PS: Yes, I'm gluten free, and I live in the Pizza and Bagel Capital of the country. One of the reasons I hate my life outside of flying.

Always have Plan B in case your meal is not loaded/forgotten by catering. I highly recommend bringing snacks onboard just in case as things do happen.
For example, I purchased a Delta Dine-Up Meal for my flight from Los Angeles - Kennedy Airport (some years ago). Not one cabin crew could locate my meal because catering failed to load my Antipasto Platter. Thankfully, there was an extra meal (steak!) in First Class and the cabin crew kindly offered it to me as compensation along with some additional SkyMiles.
Anyway, be prepared for the worst and hope for the best!

It went well. They had it loaded, and the regular meal option was actually gluten friendly in my opinion as well. It was basically a salad, fruit on the side with a gluten free roll. Not bad, though a salad wasn't much. Either way there were plenty of snacks handed out and I was very comfy for my 40 minute taxi time at JFK that evening. It was an A320 with AVOD PTVs too, which made it even better.
