I am working on an itinerary to take the famous United Island Hopper from Guam to Honolulu. For this, I would be flying in to Guam from Tokyo, and would like to know first-hand experience from those who have passed through immigration in GUM if there are any restrictions for non-US citizens in Guam compared to usual Ports of Entry in continental US?
I have an Indian passport so I am not eligible for any visa-waiver programs, I have a valid US H-1B visa and I will be carrying my usual immigration documents as I would if I were entering the US in, lets say, SFO. Will "entering" the US in Guam cause any issues? I read on some (maybe unreliable) website that to enter Guam you need to show you have work/valid reason to be in Guam specifically, not just the US, is it?
