Why specifically the US? I'd call my airline BENAir. (And the frequent flyer points would be called BENefits)

Sheep. And that would of course be an ULCC, nicknamed "the sheepest airline" and it's logo would obviously be a sheep.

Fly 'MURCA.

- American flag-upholstered seats
- Complimentary rifle and bible for every passenger (biblical misinterpretations are fun small talk on longer flights)
- Mandatory prayers before takeoff
- Aircraft must have smokey Pratt & Whitney JT3Ds, or at the very least JT8Ds without the hushkits (cuz hushkits are for pussies.)
- No Muslamics or muslamic-y languages allowed
- Complimentary moonshine to all passengers

That's the most disgusting thing I've ever heard, but it could be because I'm not a christian. I consider myself an atheist. Not that I have anything against christian people, but within reason and this is way out of reason. Besides, not allowing muslims on your airline sounds like discrimination to me. Most muslims are good people, keep that in mind. There are a few rotten apples among them, but there are rotten apples among every religion.

Then of course you choose to be very religious, but on the other hand you're using very noisy and polluting engines on your aircraft. Don't you feel guilty about, as it says in christianity, littering Gods world with noise and pullution? Even if for me the world is not Gods world, i share the care for the environment and as little nuisance as possible for the people on the ground.

PrairieJet. I think it would be neat to have an airline that focuses mainly on the Midwest and Great Plains region of the U.S. and the name fits. Plus I miss Midwest Airlines terribly.

I'm pretty sure he's Dutch so I don't think he got as much of a kick out of it as some of the American a.netters did.

Speaking of nationalities, I am really upset that a.net got rid of the little flags that showed each member's home country. That was a neat little feature and it's a real shame that they got rid of it with the site update.

this is the best thing I have ever seen on A.net.

Also where on earth is is this plane from? The confederate flag on a plane is hilarious! :rotfl:

I am indeed Dutch and although I'm pretty good at English it's not my mother tongue. That might be the reason I didn't get the joke (I still don't get it). Also Americans generally seem to have a different sense of humor than Dutch or even Europeans in general. That could also be part of the reason.

America Eastern, but only if it was based on the East Coast. If it was on the West Coast, it would be America Western.

BN Airlines. BN stands for Butt Naked. Would have the worlds first scheduled clothing optional airline. There would be a shower filled lounge after you get thru security. The aircraft would be split into two halves. Naked at the rear. Clothed at the front.

Virgin Pacific

Love this idea.

I have a penchant for vanished airlines, and being a West Coaster, and assuming I could gain the rights to the names, my choices would be...

- Pacific Southwest Airlines.
- Western Pacific.

Basically, anything with the name, "Pacific," in it!

I would go with Wizz Air but it's already taken. So the clothing optional airline it has to be. It would work out well because tickets would not be sold by the seat and there would be no baggage rules or fees. Tickets would be sold by the pound; show up at the airport with as much or little stuff as you want, get on the scale, and pay the ticket price multiplied by the weight of you plus whatever crap you bring. The "check-in" will be named the more appropriate "weigh-in". With this system, flying naked saves not only time at security, but also money.

Intercontinental Airlines
"Connecting America to the World"
Main Hub: JFK (Like a real hub too. Real connections, real banks, stuff like that. I'm sure Chuck Shumer would help a New Yorker out)
Other Hubs: RDU, MCI, SLC
Boeing fleet. I like Airbus, but I'm going Boeing.

Would probably be big on serving smaller communities in addition to international routes. I've always had a soft spot for small community air service.
