My first flight was on a Pan American Boeing 377 which was piloted by my grandfather in the very late 1950's. I flew on a 707, 727, DC-9, DC-10, CV 440/580, F-27, L-1011, and Electra's before I flew on my first 737-200 from SEA to SFO on Western. I only ended up on this aircraft due to a United strike in December 1975. The first A320 was on an America West bird that sub for their crappy 737-200 that operated PHX-DEN.

First 737... That would have been some form of a Classic, probably a 737-300 going from ONT/LAX/SNA to either Houston or DFW to connect later on to CLE, about 1995. Funny, every other flight 'til then was a 727, 707, or DC-8 to CLE, which was about the only place we ever went. Odd that it took me that long to fly a 737, and I've been flying since the early '70s.
A320... A United Express A320 from DEN to SNA about 1998. It was reportedly one of the worst air traffic days in history up 'til then. I remember flight attendants and babies floating up to the cabin roof, and no meal or drink service the entire flight. Wow, what a nasty day.

First ever flight I think was a 767 from ADL-SYD. This was from our old International terminal, and from memory I was sure I had a 737 safety card (I was 11 at the time. and it was a red-eye flight, so the tired, cranky 11 year old version of me probably misread the 3 for a 6).
First 737 was a British Midland 737-400 flight from LHR-BFS - the last leg of the above trip, that included one of QF's indigenous themed 747-400's from SYD-HKG (Kai Tak), an Alitalia (Mk.1) MD-11 from HKG-FCO, and I think an Alitalia (Mk.1) DC-9 (I remember the 2-2 seating configuration and the age of the plane, so don't kill me if I'm wrong lol) from FCO-LHR). A very cheap father booked the flights, hence why we had the magical mystery tour of ADL-SYD-HKG-FCO-LHR-BFS (and this was the better of the cheap options he found lol). No wonder I turned into an aviation geek!
First 737-800 experience was a Virgin Blue flight from ADL-MEL in 2005. After spending weeks rubbing it into people that I would use the new ADL terminal, issues with the fuel lines saw the domestic operations at the new terminal delayed and I had my one and only experience departing from the old domestic terminal - and in true irony my gate was literally a door that opened out onto the tarmac!
First Airbus A320 experience was a Tiger flight from MEL-ADL in 2009 (also the first time I had an exit row seat on any aircraft, and first visit to the old T4 at MEL - which at the time was literally a tin shed down the road from T3).
TL:DR - first 737 flight was my 5th flight, first A320 was my 14th flight

First 737, PWM-ORD on United 737-200 in April 1988.
First A320, BOS-MEM on Northwest A320, Aug 1993.
I was a kid, so I don't remember how many RTs I'd flown before these flights.
I flew several times each year, for eight years, before riding the 737, and 13 before the A320. Previously, it was mainly 727s and DC-9s.

I remember flying on a 737-400 with PAL around the 1990s. I didn't get to fly on an A320 until 2006, which was also with PAL.

My first 737 was with the old OA when I was a kid close to when the new ATH had opened. Don't remember anything except going to the cockpit. It was to AXD iirc. My first A320 was with A3 soon after they got them on the same route.

NWA was the launch customer for the A320 in North America I flew on the second flight after NWA took delivery of the A320 I flew from DTW-SAN in 1989. My first 737 was on People Express in 1983 EWR-JAX.

First 737: Boeing 737-200 operated by MetroJet LGA-RSW May 2001 N243US (Also first flight ever, along with first and last time in the cockpit mid-flight).
First A320: Airbus A320-200 operated by JetBlue Airways JFK-MCO December 2007 N529JB (First flight after 5 year hiatus).

First 737: BUD-TIP on B-737-500 HA-LER in 2001 (24 flights since on -300/400/500/600/700/800).

Interesting question. Well I'm old so yeah my first ever flight was on a DC-3, My first 737 was a 200 delivered new to Ansett while they were in the process of retiring the DC-9s, And I had it on the return flight to Sydney from Melbourne. Funny enough my first ever A320 was also with Ansett and took it to Adelaide from Sydney. My last flight on the A320 was just three weeks ago with Jetstar to Ballina and my last 737 thanks to Southwest was a 733 three years ago.

My first A320 was on a A320-100. That's a rare one seeing as only AF & BA ever operated it. I was the latter. BA (G-BUSE). First 737 was a BA 737-400 a few years later.

I don't remember my first 737 ride exactly since I've been on places since the Infant in Arms stage of life, but I'm pretty sure it was on US in the early 90s. My first A320? Geez I don't even know. My guess would have to be in 2001 on jetBlue from MCO-JFK.
