What new routes do you want from your home airport?

The title is pretty self-explanatory. I'll start. My home airport is SEA.
-CDG or OSL/CPH/ARN on DY
-DOH on QR
-DFW or IAH on DL
-BWI on another airline (for VFR purposes, so not too likely)
-YUL on AC (perfect CS100 route)
-PTY on CM (probably weight-restricted with a 737-8 MAX and could be a redeye when the airport isn't too busy)

From SMF:

A daytime flight to New York. Not technically a new route as United and JetBlue already serve EWR and JFK, but only as redeyes. I'd prefer a daytime flight both for when I visit NYC for VFR purposes, and for the more convenient one-stop options to more European cities.

LHR on BA, or any flight to Europe really.

Daily Delta BLI to ATL flights departing late morning/early afternoon both ways. I'd take PAE to ATL too. The drive all the way to SEA is no fun.

I wouldn't mind a part 135 operator starting service from Eastsound, WA to YVR.

- DL to MSP
- UA to DEN on a 73G
- BOS on a mainline carrier
- Cape Air to more places around the edge of Long Island and the Cape - MTP, HTO, or maybe some other routes like PVD or BDL
- Any interesting airline to any interesting place.

Home airport NUE. I'd wish there would be a direct connection to Moscow. In 2008 Air Berlin tried to serve DME, but terminated the routing quite quickly again.

My home airport would either be BFS or BHD, and I would just like flights to MAD and another NYC flight (not DY).

Recently I've been living in PNA, and would like to see: PNA-BCN, PNA-CDG or AMS. And then the most unrealistic and improbable would be PNA-DUB on EI.

GRU-SFO has been tried a couple of times by Varig and United without much success. The SFO area does not have a huge Brazilian population plus flights between the two cities overfly major connecting hubs in LAX, DFW, IAH and MIA. I would like to see MIA - NRT but I do not think that the route will happen due to a small Asian population in South Florida and like GRU-SFO a MIA-NRT flight would overfly connecting hubs like DFW, LAX, ORD, ATL, IAH, JFK and even SFO.

None of which will happen until the price of oil reaches $75bbl.

My home airport would be Amsterdam and I guess I got nothing to complain when it comes to the number of destinations. There aren't much airports in Europe that are not connected to Amsterdam and none that I'd ever want to go to.

Odd situation is that in 2 years I'll get a new home airport and I don't even have to move for it. By then Lelystad will open for commercial traffic which is far closer than Amsterdam. Of course routes from/to Lelystad have not yet been announced so that leaves everything to wish for.

Growth has been great here at KAUS. Five years ago we didn't have any flights farther than Seattle, now we've got three TATL flights (one coming next March by Norwegian) and flights to Mexico and Canada. Delta and Alaska seemed to have read my mind this year and added a lot of routes I predicted (AUS-SEA, AUS-BOS, AUS-SAN, etc). I do think there are some "essential routes" that are unfilled at the moment....

AUS-Tokyo/Seoul

It'd be cool getting another long-haul route from across the other ocean... I think a 787-9 flight in a thrice/4x weekly basis could be sustainable within the next few years, assuming the growth continues.

TK 737 service upgraded to A321, odd A330 wouldn't kill either (basically the same allocation as the Manchester route)
QR 787 for AT LEAST one slot upgraded to A359
Long shot but I wouldn't mind an Aer Lingus A330 on one LHR slot
If I come up with new routes I will report back. Sorry for the slight off topic response but it is at least a bit relevant!

Waiting for UA to one day begin SFO-MEL, or maybe even QF could do it when the 789s come online.

I'll also humbly consider OAK as a "home" airport as it's every bit as accessible as SFO to me, and seeing OAK-AMS on DY would be neat supposing they'd be able to get slots, even with 10x weekly SFO-AMS in summer on KL. DY's through options out of LGW (with D8's network being cut to allow for long haul expansion, one such victim personally being WAW which could've worked for getting a close friend back home for cheap), OSL, ARN, or CPH "could" be better however I'm mostly speaking from situational personal experience as I'm sure DY's network in Europe is very, very decent to begin with. OSL being the biggest DY hub only has 2x (Tue/Sat) summer seasonal from OAK (OAK-CPH with the same schedule), while DY's ARN-FCO departs too soon for amble connection time (relatives not as travel/Europe-savvy as mom or myself had to purchase $330 apiece fares for three to "safely" self-connect with LH from ARN to FCO via MUC). In contrast, tickets purchased in the same time frame on U2 from AMS were less than $50 a person, but this just compares two separate routes from available options (AMS-LIN and ARN-FCO).

Point being, AMS would be another good option out of OAK to connect onward to Europe with U2 and HV when using oneway tickets to mix and match itineraries. But that's just the life of using a longhaul LCC (or just DY as a repeat customer) for TATL (can I say 18 members of family/extended family all at once going to Europe and back?). In the meantime I'll still have to see the available options going forward using DY to FCO or BCN (or Level to BCN) for possible connections with D8/VY, or even BA to LGW which should be fun to look at. This is even before considering extended layovers at any of the European destinations out of OAK.

DL restarting SLC. On CR7s at minimum instead of the CR2s originally used. Twice daily.
DL adding a morning departure to LGA to compete with AA. DL's evening departure is late over half the time.

Have two home ports

From ROK:
Sunshine Coast (MCY)
Cairns (CNS)
Sydney (SYD)
Gladstone (GLT) - used to be flights and now it's just the train which is horribly timed, especially on the return.
And an increase of flights to OOL from twice weekly to daily.

From OOL:
DOH/AUH/DXB, hell I'll take SHJ - just a middle eastern hub connection. The demand is definitely there.
And an increase of flights to ROK from twice weekly to daily :p
Plus a high speed rail connection to BNE.

And LOTS that I'd want from BNE, but since I don't technically live their, I won't expand on that.

In an interview some time ago about future long haul plans, a SAS executive mentioned YYZ and ICN as future destinations they are considering. If that means they will be reality is another question…

My home airport is Mumbai and there's already a nice collection of international flights here, but i'd like to see

1.) A non stop to Australia/New Zealand. Transiting at Delhi when one is from West India makes little sense when SQ is far more convenient and even that can be eliminated with a non-stop to AKL or SYD.

2.) Mumbai to Helsinki/Oslo/Stockholm/Copenhagen. Maybe Norwegian/SAS/Finnair can try this one?? I know AI wont, and 9W is out of the question. Oh, and all 3 would add to the diversity of carriers at BOM

3.) Mumbai to Rome and Vienna, 2 European cities not yet connected to Mumbai. A seasonal flight could work. By the way, a Swiss acquaintance once told me how he how it was cheaper for him to drive down to Milan to catch AI's MXP-DEL service than LX's non-stop ZRH-DEL service.

4) Mumbai to Bali and Jakarta - Although AirAsia has a BOM-KUL-DPS routing, a direct flight would go down well with the hundreds of Indian tourists who travel to Bali, especially the ones from Tier 1 cities who have to make 2 stops on the way.

I would have said Toronto but thanks to AC, we now have that. However, a long jaunt through HKG on CX still ended up being around 200 USD cheaper than the direct option.

My home airport is CQM, so if it is reopened soon or later, I would love to see:

- Restart of operations to PAR, LON, PMI, LPA and BCN. These were already operated by Air Berlin (PMI), Air Nostrum/Iberia Regional (BCN and LPA), Vueling (CDG, BCN, PMI) and Ryanair (STN). So maybe Ryanair to BVA, STN, PMI, LPA and BCN could be good.

- Wizz Air, FlyOne or Blue Air to KIV/IAS, CLJ, TSR, OTP and CND, as Ciudad Real is home to many Romanian people.

- If the high-speed station to MAD (or XOC train station) and ODB (actually XOJ) is ever built, maybe more flights to KUT/BUS/TBS (W6?/A9?), BEG (W6?), GDN (FR?), LED (DP?), KBP/IEV (FR?/W6?) and IKA (IR?/W5?) could be added, as they are not served from MAD. If we add long-haul, unserved destinations could be SEA/YVR, MNL/CRK, LAS/PHX, SFO/OAK, CAN, WNZ, GDL and MGA, but at this point it would be just too difficult.
